Lessons learned while in SC 6 months: Mini meese

1)Half of my heart is in Oregon

2)I live vicariously through 3 beautiful children:

Dyane Sue, 5

Dorian Skye, 4

Deryk Samuel, 6 mos

3)They always tell stories about before uncle Chris went to the "Maweens" (Marine Corps) and how they use to play together - They LOVE him!

4)Just the sound of their voices and laughs can make me cry

5)It is possible to grow closer to them through dreams

*Being away from these 3 has been one of the most difficult things to cope with. I love them so much. Even through all of the tears, spanks, poopy diapers, snotty noses, pukey tummys, bratty faces, and even the refusing-to-eat-to-prove-a-point arguments they always know their Aunt Addy and Uncle Chris will do anything to help them, and better their lives each day. It's been especially hard being away from Deryk, he was born on mine & Chris' honeymoon, yes we got a call at 3 am! BAM! My sister was in labor, i rolled Chris over shook him and told him babe! we gotta go! Mo is in labor!! He looked at me said EW and went back to sleep - LOL! We love telling that story :) But the sad part is that when Deryk was just two weeks old I up and packed all of my things from moms house and trekked cross country to South Carolina, where I was to begin my own love story. The last week before I left was spent soley at my sister's house, holding those kids and telling them how much I love them, just watching them laugh and play tore me apart, and I wasn't even gone yet.

We will see you again soon my little ones, I love you, and me and Uncle Chris will pray for each and everyone one of you! Wash your hands and say your prayers, cause Jesus and germs are everywhere
